about

for Nina, and Zechariah.

To Be Gentle weave a meditative reflection throughout their newest offering, "let us go then, you and i,", examining catharsis and interpersonal relationships via massive, effects-laden post-rock soundscapes and ambience. Converging the sonic pleasures of ambient, and the emotive, heart-wrenching melodies of post-rock, To Be Gentle manages to find a perfect median right smack on the line, crossing it on neither side, while bringing out the greatest parts of both genre's frameworks and building upon them further.

"To Be Gentle are THE band you want to look for in the modern landscape of emotive hardcore music. They're living proof that the scene is far from dying, but rather breathing in new life with a plethora of new and intriguing acts." - Moyas Room
