To Be Gentle presents their follow-up record to their first ambient endeavor, "A Place To Rest My Ruined Head: A Sonic Memoir". Completely written and recorded using modular synthesis, the project strives to encapsulate the emotions, feelings, and magic that analog equipment evokes through its very nature. To Be Gentle collaborator Eve Beeker compares this to the likes of the special quality and feeling of tube amplification, that it is where the machine, flesh, and spirit of the musician converge into one.
"A Place To Rest My Ruined Head: A Sonic Memoir" is devoted to the essence of deep thought. To Be Gentle invites the listener to sit with the music, what makes them comfortable, as well as uncomfortable, and to invite these thoughts inward.
